Pneumatic System:

• At the heart of the Sigma 2 set is a simple and reliable two-stage pneumatic system. A first breath activated positive pressure demand valve provides low breathing resistance and excellent dynamic performance - particularly at high flow rates. A first stage pressure reducing valve features only two moving parts and accepts cylinders pressures of up to 300 bar without adjustment. A cylinder connector assembly with standard breathing air thread is fitted, with an easily removed bronze filter to protect the pneumatics.

Designed for ease of donning, the Cen-Paq range is used where speed of response is the key issue. Cen-Paqs one sized waistcoat allows it to be used where full sized SCBA may be too bulky. Cen-Paq is suitable for snatch rescue, intervention and rescue applications.

The Scott Cen-Paq is an open circuit, self-contained, compressed air breathing apparatus. It consists of a Hi-Vis jacket based carrying system and pneumatic system, containing a cylinder connector, reducer, pressure gauge, whistle anddemand valve.

The Cen-Paq is a single cylinder set with a duration of 15, 20 or 30 minutes. The Cen-Paq can also be configured with an anti-static jacket and an airline attachment.

The Cen-Paq is used in conjunction with a range of composite or steel cylinders and the choice of Vision 3, Panaseal, Panavisor or Promask PP facemask.

Applications :
The Cen-Paq was specifically designed as a snatch rescue SCBA, but is also suitable for work in the Oil and Gas industry and providing respiratory protection in any IDLH environment.

Flite Escape is a positive pressure airline breathing apparatus with the option of a 10, 13 or 15-minute compressed air cylinder supply for escape from the most hazardous environments. Ideal for working in confined spaces the Flite's robust design has been proven in some of the most arduous working environments including offshore oil and gas production.

Scott ACSi SCBA features the innovative Advanced Carrying System (ACS), which features a padded Thermoflex backplate molded to fit the spine and back muscles for increased comfort and flexibility.  The ACSi SCBA features a reliable two-stage pneumatic system consisting of a first stage pressure reducer coupled with the Scott E-Z Flo mask mounted regulator.  Finally, the ACSi SCBA enables quick-turn-around and decon with pneumatics that can be removed from the back-plate with a simple Scott "quarter-turn", no tools required.
